Review summary

It was a very relaxing cruise. We've done this itinerary on Princess many times & don't go for the ports anymore;  so I can't really speak to that except to say that it's Mexico for tourists & leave it at that...  Now we just go to get away, relax & be pampered for a week when we sail on this particular one.

Unfortunately, my wife & I had been noticing a trend of Princess Cruises going way downhill in terms of overall quality over the past few years, regardless of the ship or the itinerary we happened to be on. I'm pleased to say this ship & staff were noticeably improved which really made for a pleasant vacation experience. In fact, this sailing renewed Princess as our favorite cruise line & plan to travel again with them for many years to come!

Glad to see you enjoyed your vacation. I found Princess to be a wonderful alternative to her higher-paced discounted sister line -- well worth the extra cost.
