Review summary

When you take a vacation as infrequently as we do you want it to be perfect. Often you have high expectations; you fantasize about how amazing it will be and the reality falls short. That was not the case for us. Our vacation was everything we dreamed it would be. (A bit more sunshine would have been nice but nothing could dampen our experience!)

The ship was lovely. We had an amazing view from our balcony and the value was well worth what we paid.

I don't go on the cruises for the food. There was plenty of it and it was fine.

We loved the trivia. Could have more songs for Karaoke. Whale lecture was great!

It was fine. We only went to two shows. The strings trio from Hungary was exceptional.

The staff was wonderful. Our steward for B205 was excellent Enrique. Thai in the Da Vinci dining room was so helpful with my dietary needs.

Lovely ship. Wish the bathrooms on Princess were bigger but everything else was great!

The carpet was a tad stained. Otherwise the room was exceptional. We love it! Next time a suite with a larger shower :)

Ship tip

If you are going to Alaska don't skimp. The balcony is a must!!!!!! Have breakfast in the dining room - much better than the buffet. Do trivia with Bianca - she's a hoot!
