The central entertainment area was a great community builder, and there was always a lot of other choices as well. All was clean and well maintained, vacuumed, scrubbed and polished frequently..

Nice large window! Small but with a good amount of closet and drawer space.

Quiet reading spaces almost hidden on deck near the spa.
Beautiful place but it has become VERY touristy. We had fun at a smaller local bar & restaurant. Chankanaab National Park and Punta Sur are gorgeous but crowded.
The Jaguar Paw Cave Tubing was very fun and our guide (Slim Kirk) was entertaining and full of information. Alva, our cave tour guide was very knowledgeable about history and natural sciences.
Again, a cloistered shopping area surrounded the port, and local cabbies were kept outside. We left the "compound" to explore a bit. Nice but walking along the beach area, be prepared to say " Gracious , NO" about a thousand time to street vendors.
