Review summary

We went on this cruise to visit Mayan cultural sites and spend time with our family. The ship, however, was below our expectations. It really shows its age and is in need of an upgrade to compete with other cruise lines.

Service in the main dining room for dinner was excellent. Our waiter Boris was efficient, friendly and accommodating in fulfilling our wishes. Breakfast in the dining room was another matter. Waiter was unfriendly and seemed over-worked. It took over an hour to get breakfast. A complaint registered with the head waiter got no response. Very disappointing.
