Set up of the ship is strange and the tiniest stateroom imaginable. We had a fantastic time and the staff really is incredibly friendly, just like the captain says everyday in his announcements! Still...there were some definite drawbacks, maybe just because I'm comparing to a couple of larger, nicer ships. We got a great deal, had a fantastic time and I would do it all over again, even with the quirks. Shows are sub-par. Excursions lady was not well acquainted with the ports or the excursions and not at all helpful to find alternatives if something was booked or didn't meet our needs (her port talks were less than 5 minutes!) Food was good, but that is all. Sometimes the salad bar was the best thing going, but hey, I love salad! Always plan on at least 2.5 hours for dinner, ugh! Outdoor film quality...don't bother...screen has many large areas of missing pixels and audio was terrible. Spa specials made everything better, and OH, those hot tubs! (no jets...but still very relaxing...our cruise was unseasonably cool.) Most efficient staff for luggage handling and getting people on and off the ship for ports!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Meh...we skipped the dining room four or five nights just because of the time investment and the food wasn't really worth it. If it wasn't going to be impressive, we could just find something in the Windjammer.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
We usually enjoy trivia, but topics were bizarre or obscure or staff was late...
There is apparently no reasonable place for exercise classes, so they are by the pool for hundreds to gawk and video. YUK! A real zumba instructor and yoga/stretch instructor would be awesome, and NOT by the pool!

Ship Quality

The layout is just not the wonderful open spaces and variety of venues of newer ships, but it was very clean and staff worked hard to keep it that way.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
We laughed about our hallway of banishment. We wanted the bargain inside cabin. We don't usually spend much time there. I have never seen an inside, inside, hallway, very strange. Smallest cabin ever. We were fine, but someone with claustrophobia would have serious issues. Our cabin steward was awesome!!! He took great care of us!
Ship tip
Deck space by the pools is hard to come by. If you would like to soak up the air and not so much sun, we found quiet chairs to read outside on deck 5 and it was a great place to catch the sunset before late seating.
Don't miss the sail out of the fjords in Montenegro.
We enjoyed the ruins at Akrotiri more than I expected, partly because we had an excellent guide. If you just want to see Oia and Fira, skip the excursion. Cable car up and down, buses run every 30 minutes to/from Oia instead of rushing for the allotted 1 hour and 15 minutes. Bus was 3.60 Euro for 2 people. HAH!
Much of Athens is NOT attractive or safe. I would not want to wander and certainly not get lost. I wouldn't have missed the history, but stick with an excursion.
