The sanctuary pool, hot tubs, and bar is a great place to spend a sea day and usual it’s quiet enough to have a normal conversation but if you want a good lounger don’t wait for breakfast in the MDR or linger to long in Horizons.

The Medallion app takes a bit to get used to but it's very helpful once you understand how it works. The ship has in excess of 3000 guests....we prefer smaller ships.

Pick a different ship if you are concerned about the crew friendliness. Most of them are great, but the unhappy crewmembers definitely impact your experience.

make sure you show up early to get a tender ticket if you booked an excursion not through the princess excursions. Also you can find all the specialty restaurant menus on a table in the buffet area

Get the premium drink package if you drink at all. There are so many more benefits to it than just the alcohol that make it worthwhile.

Tip - when you come out of the elevators, you are facing the front of the ship. If you want to share a table in the MDR (and meet some new people) just ask receptionist. We ended up getting the same table every night with some great folks from Austin. It was just like the old times before Anytime Dining. Pack your swimsuit in your carry-on because any other day, the jacuzzi is often packed with adults.
