Review summary

Our cruise started off with a cancelation of Roatan, a port I was excited about visiting. Next the captain decided to cancel Costa Maya due to high winds. Next we decided not to visit Belize (a replacement port for Roatan) due to no excursions and nothing at port itself. Our 1 and only port was Cozemel. However, the excursion we had setup went out of business. So needless to say all three excursions I had setup didn't materialize, which was unfortunate.

Downgrading your review for keeping you safe. One of the things gs I will never understand.

You only missed one port! Yes there was a port replacement, which then had to be missed due to bad weather but you chose not to get off the ship in Belize. Why give a port one star when you chose to stay on the ship? Belize is awesome with many inexpensive excursions.

That's certainly a huge bummer about all the ports! I'm happy that you seemed to enjoy the ship itself, though, but I think you accidentally gave one-star ratings for the ship quality and your cabin, based on what you said!

Wow… that is disappointing. Our favorite ship in the Princess fleet, but we do love the days in port.

Winter is bad time of year for cruising,so many storms in Gulf of Mexico and especially Atlantic that's why so many deals and cheaper prices! It's has zero to do with money is 100% about safety of passengers and crew, been cruising over forty years and even on a not so windy days that gangway can bounce around like crazy!

You can't blame cruuse lines for bad weather. As for docking somewhere else due to canceled port, cruise lines just can't pull up and let passengers off. Port calls are done 1, 2, even 3 years in advance. I get the fact you missed your ports, but you still had a cruise, your fees were reimbursed, so enjoy what you did have.

I didn't understand your rating. Except for canceled stops and excursions, you give one star for things you seem to like

Lots of cancelling ports these days...blaming it on the weather is another way cruiselines have found to reduce their port costs..
