Review summary

This was my 7th cruise but first with Princess. Thought we would give it a shot as we found a killer deal. I thought the overall experience was good. Had a great group of friends and celebrated my fiances birthday. Ports were ok, with Roatan being the best. I prefer Eastern Caribbean over the Western. Given the choice I don't know that I would pick Princess of Holland America, the line I prefer to use. Smaller boats, much better food, higher standard of cleanliness on Holland America. But, Princess checked all the boxes I needed checked when going on a cruise with a group of my best friends and spouses.

Thanks for sharing your experience with Princess! I cruised on the same ship last year for my second cruise, and I had a very wonderful time. My upcoming cruise in April is with Holland America, so thanks for the brief great mentions!

I haven’t been on Holland in a long time but would love to see if the food really is better than Princess. Knowing they are both owned by Carnival, I would assume it is similar.
