Sailing on the regal princess is like flying Spirit Airlines they will get you there but you will be uncomfortable the entire time you will be bored since the entertainment sucks and the food also sucks like I said before

If you can afford to eat each night in the specialty restaurants go for it. If not each at the buffet for dinner, almost the same type of food is serve there as in the dining room with more selections at the Lido deck.

If signing up for anytime dining, try to come around 5:30 pm as there might be a long wait later

We would have liked to have been put with another group of people. We love the Traditional dining with the set time. It was my understanding that people who used the "anytime" dining waiting in very long lines.

Princess now has an app that you can use with the ship’s wi-fi at no cost to access your account balance, daily activities and more. No downloading is needed; simply put your phone on “Airplane mode” while you’re onboard. There's also a feature to text your cruise companions.

If you have any dietary restrictions, i.e. find out if they have a gluten free buffet station on the ship before booking!

Bring a good book. Interesting on-board activities are limited.

Buffet dining gets very busy at the more traditional meal hours ie: 8 AM and 12 Noon. You will probably need to share a table then. We are OK with that but if you don't, plan to dine earlier or later or go to one of the Dining rooms that are open for breakfast or lunch service.
