Cruise was ok but could have been great if Princess just applied some basics.
Was looking for a better cruise line then our prior cruises,Princess was not it and probably would not sail Princess again.

Buffet food was always cold, with cold items warm.
Worst port on trip .Booked an excursion thru American which was really bad.Stopped at someone’s house for some reason ,then supposably a pineapple farm which had maybe 20 pineapples planted (real joke) Then had a real short beach time.
Did an excursion thru Princess which stopped at a rum cake store not on tour,and wasted 45 minutes .Then they carried us to beach where our chairs were set up right on top of some venders renting jet ski. Had to look at that all day instead of ocean.
I've cruised on Regal many times and NEVER experienced what you did. I've been on many Princess ships as well, and still not having those issues, so maybe you're exaggerating just a bit. I've never gotten cold hot food and vise versa, unless it lost temp while eating at a table. Disembarkation is from port authority, so its not a Princess thing, but I also never pick up luggage in port, I always take it with me and have simply walked off ship, breezed through customs/border control and was done. You can't blame Princess for dock changes, cause just like parking your car, you take what's available, no cruise line gets to dock where they want, cause they don't own the cruise ports, it's a first come, first serve, and it can change as well, plus these logistical issues are planned several years out, so things do change at last minute. My advice is stop blaming cruise li especially, cause it seems you aren't happy or satisfied with any cruuse line, cause you admitted you keep looking for something better. Lower your standards and have a great cruise, its that simple.
Sorry you didn't have a good cruise. I was on the Regal a few years ago, and it was just ok. We had some good port visits. I don't know if we will do another Princess. For the price point it just doesn't live up to that. But anyways, thanks for sharing.
