Review summary

One of our best cruises ever. Entertainment staff was great. Musicians, singers and dancers were all terrific. Really enjoyed this cruise!

Embarkation

We stayed in Rome for 4 days, then took the Princess transfer from Rome to the port.

Ate mostly in Horizon Court. Food was great.

We went to a few trivia events. Especially liked the car logo trivia.

The best entertainment staff of our 16 cruises with Princess.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the staff we encountered were great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I really miss a 360 degree panorama deck but the rest of the ship makes up for it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Exactly what we have come to expect from Princess.

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

5 out of 5
We flew in 4 days early to explore Rome before heading to the ship.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

We did the tour of Lucca through Princess. Our guide, Olga, was full of knowledge.

Genoa, Italy

5 out of 5
We did a walking tour booked through Princess. Very interesting.

Ajaccio, Corsica

Hidden Gem. We booked through Princess and went out of town to the beach area. Absolutely gorgeous. Anna, our guide, was great!

Gibraltar (U.K.)

5 out of 5
Took a Princess tour to St. Michael's Caves. After the tour, our guide, Derek, dropped us pedestrian shopping street. City needs better signage to point you back to the ship.

Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Canary Islands

5 out of 5
Took another Princess tour to the other side of the island, then to La Laguna to a open market, where I had one of the best pastries I've ever had.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was very slow (scheduled for 9:30 am. Got off at about 12:30 pm. Was due to Customs, not Princess.
