Review summary
On the plus side, the food was fantastic. For the buffet and dining room, there were wide selections of high quality food prepared very nicely. We had themed meals, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, etc. The buffet even had oyster and tiger prawns for one of the nights. Our room steward was fantastic. She made sure our room was spotless even after we brought back a bunch of sand from the beach. But on the down side, the service from the dining staff, however, can use much improvement. I am not sure if they were overworked but their attitude was one of nonchalant and not enthusiastic. They had a "don't bother me" attitude when we asked for the basics like coffee, juice and water. No one except for 2 servers went out of their way to help us. As for entertainment and kids activities. I am not sure what they did but my 3 refused to go back after 2 hours at the kids club. They said it was boring and the counselors were 'not nice'. Also, for a ship that's only 2 years old, it already looked a bit dated. Overall, the vacation was good because we didn't have to worry about what and where to eat. But it was not one of those 'I have to go back to Princess' type of cruise.
