Have an open mind to the smaller ship and take advantage of the daily activities offered.

It's a very old ship. Very limited on meals that are included on your deal. Pools are very crowded.
lordtommysstuff
Smaller ship but great staff

Bring some books, relax and enjoy.
basssacker
A smaller ship but you still want to get to shows early

We had a great time, but my single biggest complaint was the poor quality of the internet access. Internet packages are very expensive but Radiance seems to have LOTS of dead areas or areas with very poor connectivity. I would not buy the internet package on this ship again.

Don't set expectations too high! If you know go into the deal what the ship has to offer, you won't have any problem finding something to do.

Wait till they refurbish ship

Radiance of the Seas is an older ship so keep your expectations low.

Be aware of the size, if you've sailed on larger ships before. It feels compressed, but it is also very easy to get everywhere quickly from everywhere else!

Don’t drink too many sugary rum drinks.

The lower cabins are more stable if the "waves rock the boat"!

Get away from the centrum of the ship to cut down on the noise at night. Live music until we’ll after midnight

Radiance was easy to navigate but only elevators on one side and back of ship. Be prepared to wait for elevator especially at supper times. Our knees would not allow us to take the stairs so we waited.

Try the specialty restaurants. We really enjoyed Chops and Samba grill. We really really enjoyed the galley tour and brunch. Another big hit was the sushi making class. It was fun and a pretty good bargain considering all the food you get to eat...

Acquaint yourself with the ship and figure where you are in relation to the elevators midship and get your bearings from there.
