Radiance of the Seas

9 Night Bahamas & Perfect Day (Galveston Roundtrip)

Sail date: February 18, 2023

Ship: Radiance of the Seas

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

Didnt expect much on sea days, Radiance isnt a huge ship with tons to do, knew that going in. Very relaxing for the most part. Not issue free though: 1) How the hell do you run out of iced tea on a cruise from Texas!? 2) Food wasnt even up to Golden Coral standards at Windjammer or MDR. 3) Smoking area was a joke, only a few seats and only 1 table. I dont smoke but I seldom went with friends to smoking area because of no available seats.

Food and Dining

Chops was great, ate there twice 5 stars. MDR and Windjammer were a disappointment. Food was poor to average for a Golden Coral,, not what we expect from RCL.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Smaller older ship not a lot to do but not a lot expected. Nice chill cruise.

Disembarkation

OK, too many people not going when they were supposed to and it lead to confusion and a few frazzled nerves.
