Review summary

The cruise was absolutely wonderful. The weather was delightful. We were able to go to all our destinations. Sometimes we just stayed onboard and enjoyed the quiet and took advantage of the pool and hot tubs. Loved having the 10 days to meet so many people. We exchanged lots of addresses with new friends.

Embarkation

We had gotten a Lyft from the hotel early, was able to park for free, and we were before our time, but they still let us on and it was really easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Loved Windjammer for breakfast and lunch and the Main Dining room was great too! Loved our waiter Imade and assistant waiter Julianna (last name).

Windjammer Marketplace

Loved it, met a couple our first day there there and we kept on meeting up with them. We also met many interesting people in the windjammer.

Cascades Dining Room

Excellent!!!

Onboard Activities

If you are bored while onboard it is your own fault. We loved karaoke, just laying around reading, the hot tubs, and going around to all the shows, even saw a couple of good movies.

Centrum

There were certain events held here and anytime you passed by at night something was always going on, game show, music. It was really nice

Cinema

Saw a couple of good movies here.

Service and Staff

First rate, they are always there to make you happy and to have a pleasant experience.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It is an older ship, but very delightful. Because it is smaller and it lasted 10 days we were able to meet and form relationships.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
So nice it was a little bigger than the newer ships and had more drawer space. Very clean. We had a great room steward Henry that took care of us. We were able to put all our suitcases under the bed.

Ship tip

Acquaint yourself with the ship and figure where you are in relation to the elevators midship and get your bearings from there.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

We have been here before so we just shopped and went back to the ship where it was very quiet. Quite nice actually. But we always enjoy the sloths otherwise.

Colon, Panama

It was hot in Panama. We were there on Palm Sunday and got to experience the crowd waving their palm leaves and following the cardinal to the service. It was very interesting.

Cartagena, Colombia

We just got a taxi and he drove us to several places and then we were back to the ship. The best part of this port is the nature park. It was lovely. Peacocks in full plummage were everywhere. Lots of birds that were very colorful. We even saw a sloth up in a tree. Loved it!!!

Disembarkation

Not the fault of the cruise lines, but because we had been to Columbia and Panama we had to go before immigration and there were not enough agents. They only had 8 agents for 2200 people,so that took awhile.
