Don't get an internet package! Previous reviews made me wonder if the bad internet reviews were because of cruising to Alaska (where far few satellites exist for connectivity) but in the Caribbean there are plenty of satellites and it was still HORRIBLE! If you need internet I'd wait until Starlink is available on this ship to see if it's any better.
This is the optimal size ship for a cruise, not too small, not so large you get lost and even tired exploring- Was able to visit the entire ships venues and that was refreshing!
If you get motion sickness easily, stay in the middle or rear of the ship. If you want to be navigate the ship without climbing lots of stairs, stay on deck 6. Deck 11 is where all the outdoor action happens. It stays full of people. Entertainment is ship forward and most food service is ship rear.
The ship was great. There was entertainment, the ship's orchestra was amazing and the singers and dancers were top notch. They had shows as well as smaller performances where you could be right there with them. They do lots of things in the main atrium "Centrum" so if you like live music, this is the ship for you! They have an arcade which my older teens enjoyed. There are kids and teen programs as well. The spa onboard is on the pricey side and they didn't offer many specials like I've experienced on other cruises. It is very worth it to get the all inclusive drink package. It includes the Starbucks onboard as well as adult beverages at any of the bars and restaurants.
Very casual, do not over pack, you won’t need it. The Radiance is a small ship so do not expect all the bells and whistles of a larger ship. If you are going for a relaxing getaway, this is it.
