Review summary

The captain is so interactive. He was literally everywhere on the ship interacting with the team and clients. He embodied what a true leader really is. One example of 1,000 I could give was when he played volleyball in the pool with his crew against the passengers he was constantly encouraging and teaching everyone. What impressed us the most was that he was the last to get out of the pool. He let his entire team get out and get their towels and dry off before he got out. He was always putting everyone else before himself. (he can really rock Bon Jovi too!). Whatever Royal Carribean is paying him it isn't nearly enough.

Embarkation

It was super fast boarding and departing... well done!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining room was fabulous. We all did have intestinal issues every time we ate an omelet or cheeseburger in the windjammer (and we all have our gall bladder so it wasn't grease).

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We went on excursions, lounged on chairs and played lots of pool on the billiard tables. It was a blast.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Everyone was great. The only thing was that DeJa Vu could have been a little more animated. But I think they might have been a brother sister team which is why the chemistry might have been slightly off.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Nogesh our waiter was amazing.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was 9036. The balcony was amazing. We really enjoyed sitting on it. The beds were a little too firm for my liking, but it was very clean and super spacious.

Ship tip

Bring a dirty laundry bag and look for ducks (people hide them all over... super fun).

Agree totally! This Captain is amazing I loved when he and the crew sang the last night. He is so personable.

Agreed, that captain is very personable. I am fine with the captain doing captain things rather than guest relations but awesome that he makes time for Q&A etc. First captain I ever saw at debarkation gangway saying thank you and goodbye to every guest.
