Review summary

Cruised with my Parents, Brother and Sister in law, Cousin and his girlfriend, and our friend. The experience was what we have come to expect from Royal Caribbean, and Alaska also did not disappoint! The Radiance is one

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The only place we've had better embarkation, was Ft Lauderdale! As a whole, Vancouver is far from where I want to be. Staying 2 days ahead of time was a definite mistake!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was great! being a small ship, lines were never long, and food was always a great quality and variety

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Participated in many of the activities! All were entertaining. The Crazy Quest did not disappoint!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All shows were great! And the selection of movies in the movie theatre was top notch

Children's Programs

No Kids

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Probably the best MDR Waitstaff we've ever had!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
She shows her age, but still an incredible ship and experience!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent rom, with a Giant window!

Ship tip

If you're sailing to Alaska in July, and you have a window, make sure you close your curtains when you go to bed, because that sunrise at 415am is like God's Flashlight!

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

3 out of 5
Vancouver has been overrun by homeless in many of the areas downtown, and smells awfully of urine and feces.

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful Views!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Visit Eagle Beach, Mendenhall Glacier, Tracy's Crabshack, and make sure you get a Duck Fart!

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

4 out of 5
Mildly commercial. However, not too pushy!

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful City, but EXPENSIVE!

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful Vistas, but very wet in July

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
Absolutely Incredible experience

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
Took a walk to the aquarium. Aquarium was excellent, however, if youre not in good shape, take the free shuttle!

Wonderful review. Glad you and your family had a lovely time. Sounds like you were very fortunate with clear views weather-wise, important for best Hubbard Glacier & Inside Passage days. ❤️‼️
