Review summary

There were 7 of us traveling together Boarded ship out of VanCouver. Some of us were from the Charlottesville Va area Some from the Shen Valley. Va and 3 from Raleigh Nc All meeting in VanCouver the night before. Ports were great. Shopping wonderful. The transfer from the ship to the buses for the second leg going to Anchorage was so smooth. Anchorage is well worth seeing also. But never go on The alaska cruise without taking this 5 day extended land tour. Makes the whole trip a big bonus. Fairbanks and Denali are sites beyond wonder.

easy we took the second leg of the trip on to Fairbanks and Denali so bus was waiting - If you ever go to Alaska - Do not leave without continue on for this extra 4 days. I went about 12 years ago and regretted not doing it then Had to go back!! This gave the whole cruise a great ending.

I took this same cruise last year for a class reunion. We had a great time. I'm glad you enjoyed my home state. And your right Anchorage is well worth seeing.
