Review summary

Our first cruise. Seward embarkation was not great at all. Ship was great. Cabin was comfortable. People maintaining cabin were nice. Wind Jammer was awesome. Formal dining was awesome. Need to have better Indian/South Asian cuisine that was repeated almost every day and was OK but needs improvement. Safety was ok. Programs are good but can cater more for kids in the age group of 9-17 as we felt very limited. Not much stage shows other than one comedy evening that got repeated twice. Pretty boring. Movies are only two for 8 days and that is also not having choices if you want to go for a movie. Cuisine in Wind Jammer was the best and the people serving are amazing. Please keep them happy as they did a great job. Interesting to see one Ping pong table for the entire ship is really not fun. We sat for 1 hour to get a table play. Hair salon and the crew are nice. Disembarkation was nice and easy. Temperature in the ship was well maintained. Overall a great experience and lots of good improvements to make.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
OK as Seward is not a great place for embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Wind Jammer was awesome, and people were excellent

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Weather was cold that rock climbing was shut most of the time. Pools were OK.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Musicians were nice. DJs were good. Can have more performers as we felt pretty boring.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
There were very few or no children programs. Also, for kids around 15-17 was not many options at all.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great persons on Wind Jammer and Coutere restaurants.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Common areas were clean and well maintained

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Comfort of the cabin was nice. Size is OK but with bunk bed was cramped. Cabin was kept clean

Ship tip

Need more programs for kids. Need more indoor activities when going for Alaska. Food timing can be extended as we struggled getting food for all ages at different times as they close pretty early.
