Review summary

A cruise a great way to see and experience Alaska.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Information/directions on covid testing were not straightforward. Other than that getting on the ship was quick and easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We dined in the main dining room and at the buffet. Food selection was good and delicious.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We travelled in a group with ages 16 to 49. Members of our group enjoyed karaoke, the pools & hot tub, movies, the gym, pickleball, basketball, rock climbing and whale watching from the ship. And even with all that the younger members in our group wished there had been more to do on the ship. Additionally, we wish more movies would have been shown in the Aurora theater as the cinema is tiny and the outdoor showings were freezing.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The entertainment targeted an older audience.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was so friendly. Our stateroom attendant was especially excellent--so incredibly happy and friendly.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had inside cabins and would choose inside cabins again. We were in a group of 9 and spent most of our time together.

Ship tip

When travelling to Alaska I would always choose a one-way cruise as more of Alaska can be seen and enjoyed.
