Royal Caribbean is about the money, but if you do your homework and research the ports & excursions, you'll have a good time.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
I was organized with printed documents, so it was smooth
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dining room staff was pleasant and food was good. Royal Caribbean will try to sell you on the specialty restaurants, which we actually didn't need after all.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Magician was very good; mini-golf was okay. Activity director was funny. Fitness center was good; skip the tiny pools.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Musicians and singers at the shows were mediocre at best.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Room steward and wait staff were very good.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Ship is clean but is very dated and multiple repairs are needed (frayed, torn carpet; broken theatre chairs; cracked window on the port side is visible; 1 broken elevator). Tiny showers. Will not go on this ship again.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Steward was excellent; bed was hard & uncomfortable. Room was clean.
Ship tip
Don't spend the extra meal money; Wifi and coffee cards were good. Book excursions on your own.
