Fantastic Cruise!

Sail Date: August 19, 2016

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was a fantastic cruise to Alaska.  I have been to Alaska several times on business but I had never taken a cruise through the inside passage.  What a spectacular place.  The cruise was very relaxing and the tours we took were all after 10AM, so there was no rushing to get somewhere.  The crew were all very nice and the ship was beautiful.  We saw so many beautiful places, got to play with the musher dogs and ate incredible food.  It could not have been a better trip.

Cabin / Stateroom
This was a great cabin at the very rear of the ship, so there was nothing blocking our view in any direction.
Embarkation and Disembarkation The embarkation and Disembarkation were very simple since we added the transportation to and from the ship to the airport.
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
The excursions we chose at each stop were absolutely wonderful. We loved the Crab Fest in Ketchikan and the Musher Dog Camp in Skagway.
Onboard Activities
There were lots of things to do on the ship so there was no chance of getting bored.
Service and Staff
Our cabin attendant Rogelio was wonderful and went out of his way to make us comfortable.
Food and Dining
The food in the main dining hall was very good and the restaurants were great.
Seward (Anchorage), Alaska
Cruise Hubbard Glacier
Juneau, Alaska
Skagway, Alaska
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
Not much to see, but we had King Crab at the Crab Shack on the Pier that was really good.
Ketchikan, Alaska
My favorite place! It is really beautiful
Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska
Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Chops Grille is a real bargain and the food is delicious. The Mystery Dinner Theater was a lot of fun and the food was excellent. I would also take the time to go to the Aurora Theater for some of the shows in the evening.
