the Radiance of the Seas was very disappointing.

i was very very disappointed.

Alaska was a once in a lifetime visit, for me. Once off the ship, everything was wonderful, wild life, scenery, whales, seals, sea lions. Loved it all.

We did Radiance for our Hawaii trip and also felt the ship needed some TLC. The destination offset the on ship experience though. For us, Freedom is our top pick for a ship. The Radiance had some positives - their public spaces were great and loved all the water views. The staff was good too. Often there was a septic smell, the entertainment was minimal and the food was hit or miss. In the end, it was still our favorite vacation but mainly due to off-ship adventures.
