Review summary

The ports on the cruise portion of our tour were my favorite part of the cruisetour.  The land portion was great but there was a lot of wasted time and uninteresting excursions on the land part of the tour.

Ship experiences

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Billy, the piano bar singer, was phenomenal but was moved to another ship midway through our cruise. That was unfortunate. Unfortunately there were technical issues that prevented the headliner show from being performed.

Service and Staff

Gordon, a waiter in the piano bar was outstanding and personable! He always went out of his way to find us a place to sit and was very attentive. Thank you Gordon!!

Cabin / Stateroom

We never met or saw our cabin steward but he/she was very good. Thank you whoever you were!

Ship tip

I was very sad to discover that Rita's Cantina became Rita's Crab Shack.

Definitely visit the restaurant at the port and have the fish and chips! Also visit the bar with the huge stone fireplace. It was the perfect place to while away the afternoon!

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

Our ship's captain gave us the thrill of a lifetime by getting us such an up close view of the glacier. We spent nearly two hours there and it was incredible!

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

If you are doing the cruisetour (not just the cruise) don't count on the aquarium taking 2 1/2 hours to get through. We went through it in 1/2 hour.
