I enjoyed the trip, from the shore excursion to the days at sea. Etna and Stromboli volcanoes both were steaming.

Everyone I had dealings with was helpful and tried to make sure I was happy.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was clean and the design was adequate. Areas were clean. Ship needed some help with painting rusty surfaces.

My cabin was 8075, had extra space on balcony due to that location

Ship tip

Binoculars would be helpful

We went to the Papal Summer palace, it was very interesting and scenic.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

We went to Pisa, it would be helpful to get tickets for cathedral, museum or tower for the morning online. There were none available when we got there.

Toulon, France

We went to Aux in Province, very nice trip to the town and it was very interesting town.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

We went to the town of Soler by bus and came back by train. The city was having market day, so lots of interesting scenery and buildings.

Valencia, Spain

5 out of 5
Took the panoramic excursion, lots to see but not much time to explore. Would need another day to start to feel like I was seeing a majority

Barcelona, Spain Did not visit port

I had the provided transfer to the airport, it was the worst part of the whole trip, I should have made my own arrangements and since I had afternoon flight, hired a taxi to see sites of Barcelona in morning.

Disembarkation

There was confusion as to were to put luggage, which bus to get on. We were told our luggage was on our bus but it went on another bus, was taken into terminal, we wondered where it went, for 10 minutes before baggage handler told several of us to follow him
