Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Excellent. Although the Lido buffet staff need to do their jobs with a little more enthusiasm and clean tables much quicker instead of talking amongst themselves. The Lido buffet needs to improve the quality of the food and the chefs need to ensure the supply of food is available. Many times there was very little hot food available requiring one to ask the concierge staff to get food out.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Excellent array of activities to enjoy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great stage shows. brilliant and informative speakers on the insight lectures. We spent three hours on some days just to see and hear all that was available.

Children's Programs

No Kidd’s

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Other than the slack Lido buffet staff and at times a lack of wine stewards in some of the bars they were friendly at all times. A shout out to Filjam who finished up being promoted to a suite steward. What a lovely polite and attentive person.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and easy to find your way around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Typical balcony cabin, enough room to relax with a good size balcony but the bathrooms are rather small. Typical balcony cabin, enough room to relax with a sufficient size balcony but the bathrooms are rather small. Cabin was always clean with great staff.

Ship tip

Enjoy the alternative dining. Every meal was great although the lunch in the veranda Was a little disappointing due to the restricted menu which didn’t match the price being asked.

Ports of call

San Francisco, California

Enjoyed walking as much as we could.

Los Angeles, California

Port is a long way from LA so spent the day wandering around Long Beach.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala

Took a do it yourself bus to Antigua. The first bus had no aircon and it was not possible to sit in a sear due to being so small so after the group made a few noises a better bus was found. The trip, while being long was very interesting.

Puntarenas, Costa Rica

Fuerte Amador, Panama

Used a tour brought on the wharf. A disappointment. The driver said he would take to several places, he did but only to drive past them. Be careful when negotiating with the drivers to ensure you get what you are paying for.

Panama Canal Transit

Must see and do item. Loved every minute of it and the ship had a speaker on the bridge who kept the guests informed of what was happening and a bit of history thrown in.

Oranjestad, Aruba

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
