Review summary

Great, relaxing cruise! I would do Alaska again! The North Star was out of commission which was a huge disappointment as it’s a very highlighted feature for the Quantum class ships. Unfortunately, we both tested positive for Covid the day we debarked, but this didn’t ruin our overall experience. RCCL always does a great cruise!

Embarkation

Seattle is very different from the Florida ports, much more relaxed pace. Porters are very personable and organized. Our luggage was at our stateroom when we boarded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The main dining room had a great variety, in addition to the classics. Service was fantastic. On nights we had later excursions and just did the Windjammer, we noticed repetitive options and the food was just not that hot. During peak times, it was difficult to find something open as some venues were closed. Sorrento’s was the most frequently available and was great as usual.

Loved the variety of trivia options, indoor and outdoor pools were great.

Entertainment

two70 and the production shows were good! Stardust is unique and doesn’t follow a storyline, but the performers were excellent. The tech is very advanced and makes the show interesting as well.

First time doing an interior room instead of a balcony, the virtual balcony was cool and made the room feel larger. Definitely would do a balcony if I did Alaska again.
