Review summary
The Ship was nice and the crew friendly - but it felt a bit like a bait and switch. This was a first cruise after nearly 40 years of marriage. We were supposed to dock at Skagway and take a RR excusion into the mountains - Royal cancelled it 2 weeks before sailing and we docked at some tourist trap called Icy Straits instead. We were then supposed to sail up to Dawes glacier on the inner coastal, Royal cancelled it that very day on the way. We were then supposed to dock and enjoy a day in Canada, Royal cancelled it that very day as well. 3 of our days' vacation plans were cancelled due to these decisions. We were refunded for our RR trip but if we cruise again, we'll try another line.Embarkation
