Embarkation

I don't know how it could have been any easier

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food was amazing.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
We waited too long into the cruise and the Northstar was sold out, plus we had one bad at sea day

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Loved sequins and feathers as well as starwater. I missed sonic odyssey. The piano guys in the schooner bar were awesome

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Michael our stateroom attendant kept our room very tidy Angelo and Ni in the grand dining room made us feel like family

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
There were some public bathroom issues on 14 but other than that everything was good

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Always clean and tidy. Michael was very attentive. The virtual balcony was interesting 💜💜💜

Ship tip

Don't over pack. Go see Dadang in casino bar for a papa jack. And drink as many lava flows as you can

Ports of call

Victoria, British Columbia

After all the hoops they made us jump through they didn't even stamp our passports. We arrived at 5 couldn't get off til 5:30 and had to be back on board by 9:30. It took forever to find transportation into town because I was done walking 😆 once in town it was beautiful and there wasn't enough time to see everything

Juneau, Alaska

It was raining off and on but a great day. Alaskan Tshirt company is the place to go

Ketchikan, Alaska

We got off ship to shop and ended up taking a guided bus tour. We saw a bear, seals, and an eagle. Then I completed all my Christmas shopping at the Tongass Trading Company and paid to ship it all directly to my home.

Seattle, Washington

We flew in day before and I did too much walking. Definitely go to pikes place and see fish throwing and all the artisans

Skagway, Alaska

3 out of 5
Skipped Skagway due to high winds from the remnants of a typhoon. Instead we went to Icy Strait Point. What a let down it was. Longest port day and high winds delayed the zip lines 2 hrs. luckily our crew got refunded. Nothing to really do here

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Once again I don't know how it could have been any easier. We waited in Windjammer until 9:15 walked the 200 miles uphill through terminal our driver was waiting for us fighting off mobs of people trying to steal our ride.
