Review summary

I have been cruising with Royal Caribbean exclusively for over 15 years.  I have loved every cruise I have been on.  I loved the Voyager, I loved the Explorer...Loved the Oasis.  Hated the Quantum.  This was the worst cruise I have ever been on.  Restaurants horrible.....all the technology did not work.  Shows horrible had to stand in line for more than a half hour to see anything (not worth the crowded lines to see a show).  Cruising should be relaxing not standing in line.  No show is worth this stress.  Leaving the ship was the worst experience of my life.  Hundreds of people trying to get suitcases and go through customs at the same time.  Treated like a her of cattle.  I could not wait to get home.  Don't Cruise southern carribean in April all the beaches were full of seaweed.  After all these years with Royal Caribbean we are looking for another Cruise line.

Allure is the worst, is even worst than Carnival basic ship

I haven't cruised as much as you have but I have only cruised with carnival. Disembarking has always been a hassle, we do self assist and its a little better. I can't really complain about carnival. My family has always had clean rooms, good food and friendly service. Have had some problems with rude, drunk and disorderly people, but not the staff. My daughter is Face book friends with the waitress we had at dinner everynight, they talk nearly everyday.

I looked forward to this cruise and it was not worth the wait.  I like to relax on a cruise.  We loved all the Voyager ships and the Oasis.  This ship was great on the top floor, pools were very nice.  No promenade to speak of.  No stores except high end.  Café had same food everyday.  Windjammer same food everyday.  Restaurants same menu everyday.  Entertainment was ok but you had to stand in line over a half hour to get a seat at any show even with the reservations that we made before getting on the ship.  This trip had me in tears on more than one occasion.  We are looking for a new cruise line.
