Lots of excursions available. Great way to get a quick view of the differences of all the islands.

We went into this experience with knowing it was about the destination. To necessarily the ship itself. We were pleasantly surprised about the ship. Would definitely go again.

Do not ever book during hurricane season. The crew tried to make the best of a terrible situation but we paid a lot of money to be able to do this & see Hawaii but we were very disappointed we weren't able to & disappointed in the cruise line for not offering anything for the future.

Cancelled this cruise due to Hurricane Lane. Norwegian would not accept rebooking this trip to a safer date. Do not book your cruise with Norwegian.

Arrive in Honolulu the day before your departure and visit Pearl Harbor, the Arizona Memorial, etc. For several of the ports, consider renting a car and drive yourself, or do as I did and let someone else in the family do the driving. The major rental car companies had shuttle buses from the pier to the airport rental locations. I recommend taking snacks/drinks and maybe a pocket umbrella.

The ship docks in and industrial area and you have to walk a really long way to get into town. The cruise lines doesn't provide a shuttle bus nor are there any other way to get in town except for excursions.
