Review summary

Loved the small ship, the Caption and his crew were very visible all through the cruise and had time to talk to each and every one of us. All the ports were great except and well planned.

Getting through security and onto the ship was a breeze. Had to wait for maybe 15 minutes in the terminal

The production shows were great, and the majority of the other entertainers were fantastic. One comedian th year could of left on shore, not good at all

Hired a car and driver, saw the country side. Went to the Monastery that was built in the 1300’s and still used today. Saw huge cypress trees and very old olive trees

Great port, except pouring rain. Hired car and driver toured the old town, and some of the country side. Outside of Rhodes we saw many beautiful hill side towns

Santorini, Greece

Loved this stop, had to tender in and took the cable car up. Hired car and driver to give us a tour of the area, stopped in Oia walked around and took the lower road back. Had a great lunch in town and then walked the 588 steps down to the tenders.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Hired car and driver, walked the acropolis. Our friend lost a filling a few days before and our driver’s daughter is a dentist, he arranged for her to get a new filling even on a Saturday.

Catania, Sicily

Hired car and driver (who did not speak much English, but enough we understood what each other needed). Went to Syracuse the most beautiful church, SantuariobMaDonna Dille LaCrime, then to the Archimedes Park Museum lots of old rocks and caves.

Naples, Italy

Took the ship tour to Pompeii, very good. Then took a taxi down town saw the large street market, was set up as Christmas market, went to a monistary and the beautiful down town shopping centre. Went to the top of a hill to get a pamaramic view of the city and harbour

Hired a car and driver, we had bought front of the line tickets on line for the Vatican, Museum, and Sisteen Chaple...so beautiful. Saw the Collissium and walked around, saw all the beautiful sites of the city

Palermo, Sicily

Hired a horse and carriage to take us to the walking market, we set up that we pay $40E for the ride, the driver kept showing us sites and I kept telling him to take us to the market. When he finally dropped us off at the market he want $80E, I finally paid him 60 and walked away. We did a bit of shopping and walked back to the ship

Took a tour with an operator outside the gate, very misty could not see all the way down. Saw the monkeys and walked the caves. Walked down town saw a very large out door food market, and walked back to the ship

Beautiful place, walked downtown did a bit of shopping. Another great food market, could not believe all the ugly fish!

Santa Cruz De Tenerife, Canary Islands

Loved this port, hired a car and driver took us to tenerife, walked the shopping street. Drove around, saw the biggest nativity scene was life like. Stopped in the resort area for lunch so beautiful. Walked the shopping street in Santa Cruz, love that there are no cars allowed on these streets
