Overall I really enjoyed the cruise. I do not like that Royal Carribean does not include anything with the cruise booking like drinks and internet. Everything seems to have an additional cost, which is a downside to this cruise line. However, the staff were excellent, the ship was in great shape, and the ports of call were perfect. I would recommend this cruise to my friends.
Embarkation

I was happily surprised by how quickly the process went! It used to take a lot longer to get onto the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Everything was great. There will always be issues with finding space to sit when in the Windjammer. The food got a little tiring by the last day, with a lot of the breakfast and lunch options the same. Our dinners were eaten in the Main Dining Room and everything was wonderful.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
I played a lot of trivia and bingo. I didn't utilize the climbing wall, pools, fitness centers, or FloRider.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I really enjoyed the shows put on in the theater and Two70.
Children's Programs
I did not travel with young children.

The layout and design was easy to navigate and all areas were clean and well-maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was in a solo cabin and the space was perfect for just one person. I loved that the bathroom was still a separate "room" with a door in the solo cabin.
Seattle is so big it was hard to figure out what to see before getting on the ship. It was also hard to know what areas were safer than others. I did not do an excursion through the ship in Seattle.
I loved Sitka - it was beautiful. I did do the excursion that rode a ferry with whale watching, stopped at the bald eagle rehabilitation center, and then stopped to see the bears. My concern about this excursion was that it was scheduled from 10:30 am - 3:30 pm. It was noted that snacks would be available. There were very few snacks provided on the ferry at the start of the excursion. There was no place to purchase a lunch until we got to see the bears at 2:30 pm. We were also instructed to NOT bring any food or drink from the ship when we disembarked. With the schedule, the lack of lunch, and no ability to bring snacks, this excursion is poorly planned for those with dietary needs and young children (it was bad enough for us adults without those issues).
I really loved my excursion in Skagway, which was the eagle preserve wildlife float adventure. The float was an awesome experience, and the lunch provided was good and tasty!
We did not have the option to get off of the ship. I think they could have explained the process a little bit better. Our schedule in the app noted when we would enter Endicott Arm and when we would leave it, and it also noted the time we would see Dawes Glacier. I would have appreciated knowing that the only real site to see was the glacier, so waiting to get up and come up top at that particular time made the most sense.
I had a really good time in Juneau and did the culinary experience with whale watching. We were really lucky and saw a lot of neat things that evening, including orcas mating and plenty of whales!
I went on a bus tour and it was neat to see and hear about Canada, but touring on a bus that didn't slow down as things were pointed out made it hard to take pictures and even take it all in. In addition, there were things to see on both sides of the bus, but we didn't backtrack the same route so the other side of the bus could see the same things.
It is extra and don't be surprised to ask around and find that most people want it that way. There are thousands that hardly touch an alcoholic beverage during the cruise and likely tens of thousands that have no desire to have any internet access on board the ship. This group does not want their cruise costs to increase by $500 to $1,000 just so others can have this free package
