Review summary

I have always wanted to go to Alaska. Unfortunately, there was no Wow factor. I wanted to see Whales, Dolphins, Bear & Eagles but did not get to see any of these. I went to see the Glacier, which was some what disappointing. The Falls was beautiful and the train ride was acceptable. I'm happy I went but I would not go again.

Our Cabin was always clean. It did get a little to cool, if we stayed in the room to long.

Take board games, cards and plenty of reading material

I agree, we were totally underwhelmed by Alaska, we enjoyed the Canadian Rockies in Alberta much more….go to Banff if you want real beauty

Cause I live near Seattle, I go on an Alaska cruise every year, and I have enjoyed every one of them. Not all my cruises did I see plenty of wildlife, but never did I see nothing either. Glaciers were always great to see as well. Anyone who cruises to Alaska and isn't in awe of what there is to see, then that too bad for you. An amazing cruise and all you could do is complain or be underwhelmed. Perhaps cruising isn't for you, and as others have mentioned....cruising is what you make of it.

We were very fortunate on our Alaska cruise. We were able to see many orca, whales, eagles, etc.during our excursions. The animals showing up is somewhat luck of the draw. We had a very close up view of Mendenhall glacier. The train ride was amazing. All the guides on our trips were very informative. I would not have hesitate to recommend this trip highly.

I loved Alaska! Booked to go back next July. I loved the nature, scenery, and the food. The train ride up the mountain was amazing! Like the other post....a cruise vacation is what you make it. You have no control over weather or the animals, just enjoy life and be happy you were able to go to Alaska. 🤔

My wife and I had an 11 night to Alaska in July. It was raining with dense fog everyday except for our stop in Prince Rupert, BC. We had a great time walking about in the rain. Downside was we weren’t able to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Hope to go back again someday and maybe we’ll have better luck with the weather.
