We were not happy with a couple of the excursions, nor the price, so to avoid the hassle of buses we are leaning towards hiring private tour guides.

Keep an eye on the waiters. They pretend not to know what "house brand" or "well brand" is. They serve Grey Goose vodka when I asked for a house vodka ...running up the built in tip.

Make sure that if you are sailing on Odyssey in the Mediterranean that you take a close look at the ports and the itineraries. We are in pretty good shape but even we had trouble with three port days in a row. A lot of folks opted to rest instead of seeing Mykonos which is sad when you spend that much money. Also, despite what Royal says, all of the Santorini, Ephesus, and Naples tours are a ton of walking with elevation. If you are older or need special accommodations be prepared to still struggle with the amount of walking and up hill at that.

I would hope in the future to have a balcony room above the 6th floor as the view is partially obstructed (we were on the aft side of ship). We could not take any photos from our balcony that didn't have some type of obstruction that impacted the photo

Don't bring an iron they don't allow it in the ship and there's none in the rooms so make sure you pack your clothes neatly.

Shore excursions were actually great but very expensive. WiFi not worth it. Lines always long and there WILL always be lines. Quality of food and everything and definitely decreased; you can see they want to differentiate between Celebrity and Royal. Activities still fun but ship too packed for such a small space. No longer loyal to royal but was still run just went on Celebrity before and was truly on another level
