The cabins are the best thing on this ship, Food was good, I would never sail on it again even if it was FREE!

We had such great experience, we rebooked! 2025 here we come. Cruise lines cannot please everyone, go with an open mind, ALL cruises are different. Pools are crowded and small so I avoided them but my vacation was not based on a pool but more for the experience and some r&r

I been on 2 other cruise lines, I will always cruise NCL for know on. So much say, easy embark and disembark, food amazing, workers are the best, Ncl Viva very modern. Can't wait to book my next Ncl cruise 🚢

The ship is so calming due to the design. Elements. So classy

As aforementioned, out of our nearly twenty cruises this one felt like a departure from older designs, even considering an Oasis class where those are huge yet still retain classic designs. We loved all the food options, both complimentary and upcharge, albeit you can tell NCL is pushing for more upcharge choices. This is also evident in the amount of specialty dining there is onboard. The ships is not disappointing as it has plenty to wow a myriad of people, but some choices like the small pool and buffet made us wonder if the designers did it on purpose. One thing rhat comes to mind is the huge space for Starbucks by some awesome windows, and then on the opposite side of the same deck you have a store taking up the amazing window space and views. I've read that Viva took a few lessons from Prima and I already heard that Aqua (the third in line) will also be a bit different in design. For starters the racetrack will then be a waterpark, so perhaps more accesible open decks. Overall we did enjoy our trip on this brand new ship and would try it again.

Great cruise ship, great food, amazing country’s, and people.

Norwegian Viva (along with Prima and Aqua) is a departure from NCL's other ships. Different, and somewhat challenging layout, popular food court with tablet ordering, lots of activities on board, and updated cabins make it a love-it or leave-it experience for NCL faithful. Once we adjusted to the layouts of Decks 7 & 8, we appreciated the many areas where you can feel like you're on a ship with fewer passengers, as there are not as many grand-sized common areas. That said, the smallish bars can get crowded in the evenings, and some of the ways to get from one space to another just don't make a ton of sense. But, you get used to it. The outdoor dining spaces on the sides of the ship are great, as are the small infinity pools in those areas. Entertainment was terrific, food was excellent, and the Vibe Beach Club was as great as ever, with the best bar staff on the seas. There's a sense that this is a ship that emphasizes being on its outdoor space, so I'd be hesitant to book a cold weather cruise on her. But for warm weather cruising, it's a step up for Norwegian in terms of on-ship offerings in activities, food options and places to sit and relax. Try it, and you just may click with it!

Had a fun cruise. Been on Prima and Viva. Just don’t care for this ship class. Slides are fun and good food but not enough bar staff and too crowded. Theater is tiny

We had a fantastic time and loved the Viva, everything was incredibly beautiful, the staff were so friendly, and for the most part, we found the complaints we had heard about Prima and Viva to not bother us.

Over all the Staff made the trip- funny, witty and kinds. The food was better some nights than others. The décor of the ship is very modern with a relaxed luxury vibe. Higher end design than the other classes offered. Not sure if my teenager would have a good time if she didn't have someone with her. Over all would sail again the the Prima Class.

Been on the viva up to last week. Now bare in mind it was our first cruise so I have no comparison to offer but this is my opinion : Downside : Pool area too little, go kart track too big. Maybe when in USA the go-kart track will be used more but a waste of space in my opinion. Darts, go kart, mini golf and vr rooms all have extra charges. Our room was just by the theatre and a couple of times they had disco and wasn't pleasant. As mentioned from others Syd Norman and other entertainment areas are very small. But for the negative That s it. Positive : Loved the outdoor space, all glass baluster all around. Food was very good everywhere The buffet area upstairs was constantly busy but there are plenty seats (outside too) There are other restaurants (free). Our fevourite is Food hall where you order by tablets and there is a good selection of food from all ethnicity, plus you have the Commodore and Hudson restaurant both are like a refined setting with table cloths, waiting staff etc. In the Hudson we felt very rushed but overall was great. The speciality restaurant are also very good. The Los lobos is amazing. Every single staff member was outstanding I heard people from "the heaven" complaining they have to take 2 different lifts to get off the boat. Some people are too spoilt in my opinion. Overall I d like to do it again (soon if I could) To me it is all thumbs up but as I said I have no other comparison

Amazing first cruise for us. Traveling with a less than 2year old kid.

Wonderful time seeing world and enjoying beautiful weather. Learning thins or two about different cities. Exploring digs of ancient life's. Trying national food and drinks. The cruising is definitely ultimate vacation.

The Norwegian viva is a really nice ship. The updated design and the venues give it a classy feel. I love the way that the theater turns into a night club which is good. incase there is inclement weather there is always a party venue. Most of all the staff is awesome they always have a smile and made me feel welcome. My cruise friends would say the staff made them feel like money well spent, lol. The bingo was fun thanks to the Host Kareem he was really funny he was hilarious in the karaoke. I had an amazing time on the viva so its too much to itemize everything because overall all amounts to an exciting vacation, no complaints.
