Review summary

We had a fantastic time and loved the Viva, everything was incredibly beautiful, the staff were so friendly, and for the most part, we found the complaints we had heard about Prima and Viva to not bother us.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation was mostly easy, staff at the port did hold us for 30 minutes because they did not know how to process dual citizenship correctly. Still onboard by 11

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was mostly great, we had some dishes with a lack of seasoning, especially in the indulge food hall, but the speciality dining restaurants and Hudson’s were both excellent

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So many things to do, all three slides (wave, drop, and rush) were so much fun, and the Go-karts were fast and worth the $15 charge we paid. Infinity pools were awesome too!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Beyond spectacular, we loved Beetlejuice, Icons, Syd Norman’s, the comedians, the live music, and the dance parties! Such an entertaining, energetic, and enjoyable cruise!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
So friendly, personal, and willing to go the extra mile to make our experience great!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Stunning, gorgeous, beautiful. Viva is undoubtedly the most spectacular cruise ship I’ve ever stepped foot on, and it’s not really close.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was beautiful, modern, well designed, and had the best bathroom of any cabin I’ve ever stayed in, even though it was just an interior cabin.

Ship tip

Make sure to book dining early, as times did seem to fill up quickly

Disembarkation

No line up for self disembarkation, Surfside Cafe to our Uber in under 10 minutes.
