Very good cruise for the price. Overall, we really enjoyed ALL of it. There were a couple very minor things that we didn't prefer, but nothing that was a show stopper. The service and entertainment were probably the best we've had on ANY cruise line. Smaller ship that was full, but still didn't give the appearance of being OVER crowded. Exceptional Photography staff. Very pleasant and friendly food staff pretty much everywhere. Would highly recommend this cruise, and we'd be interested in doing it again in a few years.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Staff was pleasant & professional and processed us onto the ship fairly rapidly. There are always lines, but they had plenty of staff on hand so it wasn't annoying.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Garden Cafe
5 out of 5
Wide variety of food, pleasant cooks and servers. We ate most of our lunches here, and a couple breakfasts and dinners.
Four Seasons Dining Room
5 out of 5
Great food and service. Slightly smaller than the 4 Seasons, I think and forward from our stateroom. Seven Seas was closer and we ate most of our breakfasts and dinners there.
Seven Seas Main Dining Room
5 out of 5
We ate most of our breakfasts and dinners here. Very pleasant hostess staff, waiters and the food was excellent for the most part. There were a couple entrees that we sent back as they weren't good, but that was only a couple times throughout the 18 day cruise.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There were plenty available for those that liked them. We did very little on board activities. We met another couple on the boat and played games with them on the sea days.
Entertainment

Stardust Lounge

Very comfortable, with very view "limited visibility" seats. Always on time and exceptional entertainment for the most part.
Children's Programs
No kids of our own
Service and Staff

Exceptional across the board. By far the best service over all that we've had on a cruise.
Ship Quality

Layout was a little confusing at first but we learned it pretty quick. Common areas were always clean, restrooms especially.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Overall, the cabin was very comfortable and clean. We had some problems with the dresser drawers and phone not working but our steward got it fixed right away.
Ship tip
Best place to eat overall, Seven Seas Restaurant
Walking track is on deck 6, and flow IS COUNTERCLOCKWISE, like EVERY track in the world. Don't swim upstream ;-).
Alcatraz & Pier 39. Love San Francisco. We did the Alcatraz portion of the on board excursion, but didn't have as much time as we wanted at Alcatraz, so dropped the Sausalito portion, and stayed longer at Alcatraz, then walked to Pier 39 to see the sea lions.
We've been to Cabo before and none of the on board excursions attracted us. We hired a local boat to take us out to the Arch, so we could get closeup photos of it. Also had chips and salsa at the Agave Cafe, which was dockside and excellent.
We hired a cab for the 4 hour city tour with the cliff diving. Jose took very good care of us. We never felt like we were in any danger, and he was very friendly and informative.
We did the ship excursion for the Forest Skywalk, and Tarcoles Eco-Cruise. Our guides Christian and Maria Jose (husband/wife) were very good but the English was heavily accented and difficult to understand sometimes. It also POURED rain on us so that was unfortunate, as our main reason for going was to take pictures of the birds and crocodiles. Not the guide's fault at all, just unfortunate.
We did the Exclusive hop-on hop-off bus tour. Guides took good care of us. VERY hot and humid, and buses only came every half hour, so that was a big disappointment. No one dared to get off the bus to explore because you might not get back on. They need MORE buses. I think they only had 7 buses to cover the whole city.
WE did the Everglades Airboat Eco Adventure. We enjoyed the bus ride as it was air conditioned, and what little we got to see of the crocodiles in the Everglades. There were 5 buses from the ship. We were the very last to leave. They held us up for over 30 minutes after boarding. No explanation for the delay, so appeared very disorganized. The guide spoke very heavily accented English so was almost NOT understandable. C'mon people, we're back in America. Get someone that English is their first language. Very annoying. The airboat ride was quite short, and the guide kept gunning the boat and going sideways. The water was low so maybe he had to, but again, we were trying to take pictures which was very difficult. With the boat's gyrations, we were also getting water sprayed on us so had to be careful of our cameras.
A little slow, as there were unexplained delays, but not ridiculously so. The cruise staff did make announcements frequently apologizing for the delays and keeping the passengers updated on the process. Once our group was called, the process went very smoothly.
