Don’t do it. This was my most expensive cruise and although I loved the islands I hated the cruise part. Never once saw the cruise director. No entertainment on the pool deck. Very boring and understaffed cruise

Be aware that you will need tenders in 3 ports. Get your tender ticket ASAP or you will have issues especially if your shore excursions are not through NCL.

Don’t cruise on it. It’s old and not maintenance very well. From what I’ve found out it that it’s consistently breaking down. Also don’t like how the buffet is set up and nothing compared to other NCL ships.

For people who get cold easily, bring your sweaters. While you can set the temperature in your cabin, the common aereas on the boat are very cold. If you book an inside cabin, there are very few quiet areas on the boat to be (reading) in daylight if the weather does not permit to be outside.

The Star itself is fine, my issue is with Norwegian. They cancelled two ports and changed the time in port for all but one port resulting in having to cancel shore tours and activities. We should have been given the option to cancel and our money refunded. We’ll never cruise Norwegian.

Don't sail on the Norwegian Star until they fix the engine (azipod) issues. You will not get to all the ports and will have a shorter time then they say in the ones you do stop at.
