The cruise was our least liked of all NCL cruises. First reason is that they changed and canceled the main ports we chose this cruise for ( Mykonos, Santorini , Kotor ). Understand that weather in uncontrollable or mechanical failures happen but doing my study this ship is floating breakdown. Also upset that they weren’t honest about the engine catching on fire and giving us the option to cancel or not. $200 onboard credit and 20% credit isn’t much for their inability to maintain the ship properly. 2nd of all the complimentary was awful and that usually isn’t the case with NCL. Last reason was the service, fairly half of the time. It was hit or miss with the service, in which again it usually not the case with NCL.
Embarkation

Unexpectedly quick and painless
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Specialty dining was amazing but buffet , main dining and osheehans was awful. Drinks was hit or miss , it depend on where or what bar you were ordering from.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Nothing that really caught our attention. Too. Old for pool , too windy n rough waters for outdoor activities. Indoor activities had some kind of charge.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Entertainment was very good and help with everything else on the ship.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Room steward, some guest services ,hostess, some waiters and some bartenders were great !!! Specialty service desk , other bartenders and waiters and the cruise next director were rude and acted like we were an annoyance.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
The layout isn’t nothing compared to other NCL ships and not maintained very well at all. It was kept clean though. Layout wasn’t desired for the buffet and no observatory in the front of ship to have drinks and enjoy the view unlike Jade , Sky or Epic that had this.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
The room was clean and comfortable. Until from 12:30 am to 3:30 am , that’s when a horrible noise started nonstop for about 3hrs. Sounded like an engine throwing a rod. Didn’t help that we found out that the cruise before us had an engine go out and catch fire. Anyways after the 3rd night they moved us to a different room. It was a balcony , so yes it was an upgrade but the condition was poor.
Ship tip
Don’t cruise on it. It’s old and not maintenance very well. From what I’ve found out it that it’s consistently breaking down. Also don’t like how the buffet is set up and nothing compared to other NCL ships.
It was okay , we shared a taxi with some other’s from the cruise. The places that the driver’s took us wasn’t that great. As we drove back to downtown I noticed we should of just walked there and the old fort. Also weather wasn’t that good either.
Lesson learned; if your trip will be ruined if you don't visit a certain port or ports, don't take a cruise there. Thousands of things can go wrong. It seems half the reviews say they missed a port. If you really want to go to a port, fly there. Rarely would they miss three ports but it happens. I'm sure you'll have better luck next time.
Yes I would of canceled for sure willworkforcruz The wife and I would of just jump on the trains and explored Europe for a week. Yes the main dining was bad , everything we had was bland and desserts were dull and seemed like they sat for awhile. Osheehans had horrible service , wings were small and tough , the hamburger my wife had was dry and the bun was stale. Like I said before this is first time we experienced anything like this on a NCL cruise. Yes the upgrade was nice but the room was not in good condition. The carpet was stained , bathroom had rust on hardware for shower and sink. The ocean view that we had before the upgrade was perfect except the noise at night. No matter though we appreciated the upgrade but giving our opinion and review. As for credit $200 is nice but doesn’t do much on a cruise ship, as everyone knows the cost for anything is way overpriced. Maybe a spa treatment for one person if lucky.
Wow, free upgrade to a balcony. Lucky! Too bad you didn't like that room either. Yes that totally sucks about the ship engine not 100%. Would you have cancelled if you knew you the week before you would miss some ports but get a balcony upgrade and big onboard credit? Was every dish in the main dinning room really "awful"?
