Te ship and crew were excellent. Very relaxing great entertainment, interesting ports and activities. Highly recommend cruising.

The pool was beautiful, larger than other ships I've cruised on, and stayed open later than other ships that drained and closed their pools early. The buffet spread was unimpressive, never changed much, and didn't offer any special seafood or cruise-type fare. There were several restaurants on board, but you had to pay a cover for them and additional prices for certain foods, so I never tried any of them. Room service charged a fee after midnight, and $5 for pizza delivery. There was also an extra charge for milkshakes. The worst thing that happened was the horrible tender service in Cozumel. Tenders were few and far between, and hundreds of people were stranded for 30-90 minutes in the hot sun while crew members cut the line and passengers apparently got on the wrong tenders and had to be delivered to different NCL ships. It was ridiculous, and we were robbed of 3 hours of our vacation time. Should have stayed on the ship. The ship was pretty nice, but overall, I felt like I was being squeezed for every nickel the whole time, and while it was nice not to be forced to hear loud announcements in our staterooms, overall communication wasn't great. Also tons of typos on every written piece provided by the ship... annoying. Karaoke selection was blah. Good diversity of bars and drink offerings.

clean, well maintained, smooth at sea

Our ship was great, even though we were avoiding a hurricane. The stewards, waitresses, and staff were outstanding. They were a little hard to understand sometimes due to their heavy accents. My wife and I were ot thrilled by the trip because the weather was terrible, trying to avoid the hurricane.

nice enjoyable cruise good to get away and relax

This was my first cruise on NCL (my wife's fourth). The food was the biggest disappointment. To get better quality food there were Cover Charges at all the ship's "specialty" restaurants.

We enjoyed a very relaxing cruise on the "SPIRIT", except for the first sea day the seas were rough and we were seasick.

The ship was comfortable but the staff made it even better. They were welcoming, extremely helpful and very friendly. They took a personal interest in us. The entertainment was the best we have seen on any cruise line. The food was delicious

It was a great value

We had reservations in booking with NCL due to another cruise we had with the company to Hawaii. However, we were delighted with this cruise. The ship is beautifully decorated, excellent food (although we would have liked a night of seafood and also a Mexican theme one evening) great waiting staff---- friendly and polite from embarkation to debarkation and some enjoyable performers. We just loved the talents of Arvin and Emily but Angel was also very good. We enjoyed our excursions even with the rain in Cozemel----however, it needs to be noted that there is quite a bit of walking to get to the tourist bus. This was a problem for several people on crutches, walkers, canes. The room was okay until we let out the sofa bed and then there was very little room to get between the sofa bed and other bed. We would definitely cruise again and recommend NCL to other people.

The ship was very nice and fresh out of dry dock. Everything was ready for the guests when we arrived.

Overall, the cruise was very well run. The staff was very friendly and working hard. I would recommend, especially if your baby is older than two years old.

NEEDS MAKE OVER TOO OLD CARPETS

The staff was great. Kyle, the cruise director, and Johnny, his assistant, worked really hard to make this a fun cruise. Tropical Storm Lee cut our trip short by two days, and Kyle and Johnny tried to work in all of the entertainment throughout the shortened cruise. However, I would have liked to see NCL trying to make it up to us through offering a couple of glasses of free wine or soda when we boarded.

For my first cruise I wasn't sure what to expect. I was surprised that the ship was as large as it was and then disappointed that it wasn't larger. The pool is far too small for the ship size. I wish there were a choice of beverages, a Pepsi only ship. *shudder*. I wish I could have purchased bottles / cans to take to my room as non alcoholic drink sizes were only 5 or 6 oz each. The staterooms were nice, however the bathrooms were a HUGE let down in terms of size, decor and cleanliness. Staff was amazing. Food was far better than I had expected. I booked a second cruise (deposit) on board.
