Review summary

This was my first cruise on NCL (my wife's fourth). The food was the biggest disappointment. To get better quality food there were Cover Charges at all the ship's "specialty" restaurants.

Food was boring. The Italian selections (esp. eggplant parmesan) and American (turkey with dressing and gravy) were tasteless. We discovered the majority of the ship's chefs were Filipino or of other Asian descent so it was not hard to understand their unfamiliarity with other types of cuisine.

Had fairly nice time on the snorkeling tour, although the water was pretty choppy so was not clear to see the coral, etc. and there were high winds so we only had a short time for snorkeling. Again, were confined to the small pier area and unable to venture out in the city.

Took the island tour and was pretty disappointed. Not sure why this port is on the itinerary.
