Review summary

I chose this ship because of the itinerary. It hit all the spots my family wanted to see. However, aside from the excursions, the ship want nothing to brag about. The entertainment consisted of all music and dance shows, and the magician was less than magical. Everything else was extremely expensive to fill the time. The ship is extremely dated (18 years old). The recent renovations were actually just repairs, not upgrades. Couldn't plug in a blow dryer, leaking faucets with mostly cold water (and showers!), hard beds, no iConcierge service, spotty wifi - that you pay an arm and a leg for....thank goodness we spent most of our time site seeing. My family was so bored in the evenings, we went to beg by 9pm. Absolutely nothing fun on the fun ship!!!

Cold water, took the plumber two days to fix. Hard beds, needed 7 pillows delivered to sleep on it.

The tour guide left us in Pisa and we had to pay 180 euro to get to Florence on our own. Great tour...

Its normal that there are dance shows and music shows on mediterranean cruises due to the fact that there are a multitude of nationalities on board. Our cabin was comfortable snd didnt have one cold shower. Our cabin steward wasmore than acommodating. I think maybe you were just unlucky. Its a shame because i have only goid memories of our trip.

We went on the spirit a month ago with 4 teenagers and young adults and they had the most fantastic time. They met people from all over the world and still talk to them sll every day. We found the entertainment to be ample, especially the shows they had in the galaxy lounge bar. Yes the ship is older and not as dynamic as the mega ships, (which we have also been on) but it wasnt s problem
