Needed a snow break and this hit the Bullseye. Crew and ship were terrific. everything was timely in execution, and always something to do. Staff were very helpful both on board and during excursions. Recommend that excursion time not start until 10am-allows for hangovers and coffee. 2) The buffet restaurants have one two carbonated beverages available plus one dietetic. 3) allow smokers easier access-I don't smoke but why put them out that much. I have cruised twice now-once with a competitor and they were both fun. I had a balcony room this cruise and noticed that this ship had more balcony rooms than most-what a great experience to have breakfast on your own balcony-along with wine etc. Met some wonderful people.

We had a wonderful time. The staff is so talented and friendly. Enjoyed every minute. We had no problem finding the things we wanted to do, plenty of help available. We were able to take the excursions we wanted and the staff made it easy for us to get to them.

The Norwegian Sky cruise to the Bahamas was semi-enjoyable. The food was the same in the buffet all five days, including powedered eggs and powdered potatoes (at least, that is what they tasted like). The freestyle dining was a 20-30 min. wait every time. My dinner was cold one night. The interior room we slept in was freezing cold. It took four phone calls before they fixed the issue. The bed squeaked from the rocking of the ship, keeping us awake at night. They did fix that on the third day. The excursions were expensive. We purchased the Blue Lagoon excursion for $130 believing that the the floatation devices for the water were included, Turns out they were EACH anywhere from $20-$30 EXTRA to rent. So, we paid $130 to sit on a beach for 3 hours. Absolutely ridiculous. The Garden of the Groves was a 35 mins tour, each way, looking at car dealerships, hospitals and gov't buildings, and being told about a man named Wallace. The Garden Tour, itself, was another 30mins of a guide pointing out ducks, trees and telling the same story of the man named Wallace. The two stops between the tour and Garden were tourist stops for you to spend more money on the same over-priced souveniers that you had already seen at the port stop 2 hours before. Overall, this was a sub-par experience. We will not be cruising with Norwegian for a long time.

The sky is a older ship (1999, was at one point a Hawaiian Cruiser) but you wouldn't know it from looking. The smaller vesil is actually really nice compared to the new MEGA ships NCL is building. Getting on and off the ship was a breeze. With food and drink readily available. The stateroom was ready about 20 minutes after we got on board and our room with a balcony was great. The steward was very friendly and made cool towel animals. The food was great especially the french specialty restaurant "le bistro" (escargot and sword fish steak) The main two dining rooms were awesome with a lobster tail available every night. Like most cruise lines the are happy to service you multiple appetizers and entrees. The buffet lacked a little luster but was still good. Many activities on the trip, you'll never be able to do everything. It was a shorter cruise which is was we wanted. (four nights with three different island stops) Grand Bahama is first which had a great beach/shopping. Second is Nassau which I would skip entirely if I could do it again. To many people and to many cars and frankly... too much like home. No seafood and to many tshirt shops. The last island is great sturrip cay which NCL owns. They put on activities and lunch. Do your snorkeling here. they provide equipment (for a cost) and have a good variety of snorkeling spots with lots of action. A great short cruise. I dint want to be on a ship for 7-10 days and it was a steal of a deal. THE BEST PART IS THE STAFF. Everyone tries so hard and you can tell they actually care about you having a fun great time.

The cruise was excellent--service, available activities, facilities and food on the ship. I loved the atmosphere where everyone is relaxed, enjoying, and the ship staff are always ready to help. I had an issue during the booking process: both times right after I paid with my credit card through (deposit and the remaining amount), my card information was compromised and I had to have it reissued, which was a hassle. But once I was on the ship, all booking problems were forgotten, and I really enjoyed my time. Nassau and Grat Stirrup Cay were very good, but the Grand Bahama island somewhat less interesting, probably because I took a wrong shore excursion (I chose city tour and garden of Grove but I guess excursions to a resort or activities at see would have been more fun).

Having been on other cruise lines we were able to compare apples to apples. Norwegian Cruise Lines was dirty, unorganized, and at times unprofessional. Every window on the ship was dirty, very dirty. On more than one occasion we had to ask to have our suite cleaned. The cafeterias were to open at specific times, and they were late to open more than once, furthermore, we were never informed that there were other dining options available. During our stop at NCLs' private island my husband and I returned early and headed pool side for some relaxation in the sun. We were met with the sound of a crew member jack-hammering paint off the side of the ship. While my husband and I will most certainly cruise again, it is unlikely that it will be with NCL.

The shows were great. The food was average. The staff were outstanding. Senior Frogs in Freeport is a must...Nassau, not so much. Snorkeling on Great Stirrup Cay was the highlight!!

We enjoyed the 3 night Carribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Sky! The weather wasn't great, but the crew was quick to add activities and make the guests happy when our daily stop was cancelled due to not being able to tender to their private island. It was my first cruise and I really enjoyed the shows, casino and the fabulous food. I highly recommend the sit down restuarants as opposed to the buffet, worth the time and much more enjoyable! The crew was very friendly and accomodating. The ship is an older ship, but well maintained and decorated!

We had a wonderful time on our cruise and the ship was awesome. The most wonderful people work on the ship also and we plan on doing another cruise with you in two yrs. My sister Hazel, daughter Dora, and I were 150% happy with the service and the ship you all were wonderful. We enjoyed the islands too. Thank you so much for a nice trip. We are first time cruisers so we do not have anything to compare this experience to. On arrival to the ship, we were greeted immediately but the amount of information on where to go etc. was minimal, leaving us sort of wandering. Our stateroom was wonderful and I highly recomend the aft balcony. The food served at the buffets was mediocre at best. The specialty resturants were much better with LeBistro being wonderful. Cagney's was ok, the filet was outstanding, the New York strip was terrible, much like what you would get at a Western Sizzler. On the last night, they cleaned the Great Outdoor Cafe, which was directly above our stateroom. We were awakened at 2am to the sounds of chairs and tables being dragged across the floor for over 30 minutes THEN someone dropped the power washer over the side of the ship and it sprayed our balcony (we had the balcony door open and had to get out of bed and run to shut the door).. Unfortunately, the poole deck was being resurfaced so our day at the pool was not pleasant, we listened to the sounds of the power sanders the whole time.

Cabins very tiny. Food slightly above average, Crossings dining d=room staff poor, 0overall value for the money OK.

Convenient layout and logistics. Fun activities everywhere. Beautiful ship.

I really liked the ship and the size of the ship. Perfect size for a cruise, not too many people and you can find your way around very easily.

The ship lacked any special features. The pool was dirty and small. All of the jacuzzis' were set at really high jet settings so the water would bubble over and splash in your face. Only watered down tea and tart lemonade are the beverages included in the lunch and dinner options.

Just got back from a fun birthday vacation on the Sky, sad that it had to come to an end!

My wife and I have not been on Norwegian before. This would be my 4th curise and her first one this time. I liked this one very much because we hit three different islands in four days. The people and the staff were very friendly with lots of activities to do after visiting the islands. I recommend this cruise line and also the sky. If you buy a curise look for parking not on the port. I found it was $60 less to do this than park at the port.

I love the cruise .

First time on a Norwegian ship. Definitely better than Carnival but not as good a Royal. There was deck construction which took away from pol side experience. The Cruise Director's staff was very visible and interacted with passengers, however never met our cabin steward.
