Fantastic experience.

Excellent service and hospitality, will surely take a cruise again with Norwegian.

Perfect job by cruise members and their whole team....

I have always enjoyed Norwegian.  This was the worst cruise I have been on with them.  It started with the onboarding process.  Most cruise lines have found ways to make the process faster and less painful.  Norwegian has gone to a model of giving out tickets when you enter the waiting room and then calling out those groups.  The challenge was no one was there to let us know this was the process and there was also no one there to give us a ticket.  We were one of the first onboard but they had not set up this process in the room yet.  So when people started getting on the ship we were told we needed a ticket and were forced to wait an additional 45 minutes.  Not the way to start.

Once on board we were able to see our room and the plastic container the mattresses were in were dirty and stained.  Our room attendant was never seen which is really unusual for a cruise ship.  We tried to send in laundry and had to call back twice and the laundry came back a day later than promised.  Not the level of customer service I have learned to expect on a cruise ship.

Overall the cruise was fine, the food at the specialty restaurants was good and the food at the regular restaurants was mediocre.  The comedian and the shows were okay as well.  Maybe this is the level you get on the shorter cruises.

When we getting ready to get off the ship the line was ridiculously long.  Everyone was sent off the ship quickly and then stood in a line that wound through lines of chairs.  Again, nothing that said we are trying to make this a great experience.  Maybe you keep people on board until lines are shorter.

Based upon this cruise I am not sure I will go on Norwegian again

ALL STAFF WAS EXCELLENT .  MY ROOM WAS SO CLEAN . I DONT REMEMBER THE MAID /MALE NAME  THAT TOOK CARE OF MY ROOM 8025. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND KIND TO US, VERY PROFESIONAL MANERS AND ESPECIALY HE WAS DOING HIS WORK WITH DIGNITY. WE BELIEVE HE DESERVES TO GET A PROMOTION W THE COMPANY. ONLY ONE NEGATIVE COMMENT  ABOUT   THE HALLWAYS IN MY FLOOR LOOKED LIKE IT WAS WET AND DIRTY. ALL STAFF WAS AGAIN THE BEST, THE SHIP WAS AMAZING AND THE ENTERTEINMNET STAFF WAS ECECELLENT. I WILL GO BACK AGAIN. ISLAND WAS AMAZING. I KEEP TLLING MY FRIENDS ABOUTH  NCL.

Everything was included in the drinks from beer to mudslides.  We thought it would have been only regular beer or draft but NO coors light, bud light lime, champagne, frozen drinks and no lines to ask.  Very impressed.

4 days Bahamas cruise on the NCL Sky is a perfect getaway when time is limited for a vacation. The itinerary was great. Great Stirrup Cay island is just a beautiful jewel! The staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

I would do this cruise again in a heartbeat!

the Sky was my first cruise and defiantly not my last! The staff is so much fun and makes you feel right at home! There is always something to do from 7am until midnight! The excursions they offer are great! There is something for everyone. It rained one day when we were there and everyone on the ship had so much fun dancing in the rain and hot tubbing! It was great! I highly recommend the Sky! 

Loved the cruise..........the special dining rooms were great......really liked the fact that one had unlimited drinks......is this a policy on all your cruises? This would be a realy incentive for future Norwegian cruise choices.

I have been on 25 cruises

It was very fun but the chilly weather put a damper on the outside/pool fun, the food and drink made it up for it, the shows were fun but could have been sectioned off a little more, it was kind of weird to be in an adult themed show right in the open by-passers with kids, and being a non-smoker, the smoke in some areas like the casino was a bit too much, with all of that said I am look forward to my next cruise!

My girlfriend and I took the 3 day Norwegian Sky cruise during the weekend of 1/22/16 and took away many positives:

Food was outstanding

the service was second to none

free alcoholic beverages

clean rooms

Nothing negative came about from my experience and would recommend it to everyone.

You can do as much as you want or as little as you want. There is something for everyone. Food is OK drinks are great and the staff is super nice and helpful

Enjoyed the service of the crew and the excellent food buffets on Norwegian Sky. My first trip with NCL, though have been on 9 cruises. I am 72. Usually travel Holland America. The shows were well done, but all high energy pop music from the 80's-90's, with no show tunes, no 60's-70's, no country music. Comedian show was great, and the cruise director led a great "fountain" comedy act. All comedy was kept PG in the early show with R show late at night for adults. Definitely a ship to party on if you are 20-50's younger adults. The daily schedule was not very educational/seminar/training oriented but more musical venues and up-tempo/louder entertainment. The library was tiny, open only two hours a day, and no later best sellers were in it. There was no printed New York Times summary sheet each day or free computer use to read a paper on board, which I  missed.. Having the Captain and all the upper staff dance and cut up when they were introduced was too informal and unprofessional  for me. All the music venues were well done with great musicians.. The weather was quite cool for the Bahamas, and the Sky did not have a canopy to close or heated pools so swimming was definitely out. This overcrowded the hot tubs and we only got to fit in one once. NCL cruise was "free style" so there is no "dress up" dinners, etc. NCL did not spell out the daily itinerary as well as I would have liked, but you could still keep up with it. Getting on and off the ship was less regimented than I was used to, but welcomed. We took two guided tour side trips on shore and they were well done. I think for me, I will go back to Holland America. But if you are a younger adult and want a high energy, active, party ship for a cruise vacation, the NCL would be just your cup of tea.

Boarding was the easy part ,however once on the ship they were painting and wet paint signs were everywhere.On the 4th morning into the early afternoon  repairs were being made on the 11th and 12th deck , something was being riveted this lasted for hours ! Buffet served  the same thing daily with the exception of different dessert selections,and the cakes where extremely dry and could hardly swallow them.Breakfast was never brought to my room despite placing it on my door before midnight.had to watch our on board account constantly being charged for items we did not purchase.And somehow lost our onboard credit ,finally recieved it on last nite of sailing . Never received the birthday stuff that was promised either as that within its self was a big deal.    

We have been on the Sky 3 times. Embarkation was the worst we have seen on any cruise. We were on the cruise MLK weekend and the weather started off bad. It was an all inclusive drink package ship wide so everyone was defiantly enjoying themselves. The food on the buffet was good with lots to choose from, we never made it to the dining room. The staff was great and service was good too. Apparently 29 cabins on deck 8 had flooded from a water line break and ours was one of them but the staff moved us to a cabin 4 doors down with dry carpet. Great Stirrup Cay was amazing as always and made the trip worth while. Nassau we never left the ship. My biggest complaint was while in Nassau there were a lot of people on board and they only had one hot tub open and both pools were closed. I have been on 28 cruises and never seen this before. What are we supposed to do if we do not wish to get off the ship??? They were also conducting mandatory staff training exercises which were quite annoying for 2 hours. Otherwise the trip was ok. We love Longboards Sports Bar for watching all the NFL playoff games!!! 

I had an unbelievable experience for my first time on Norwegian. I an enjoyed the food, the included drinks & especially the entertainment. I felt as if the cruise director, Tyler, was the key to that. His constant positive energy kept the guests busy and happy. He has a very unique humor that made me laugh. He is an enormous asset to Norwegian. Food was amazing. 

My family and I were last year on the cruise. We do not recollect that alcohol beverages were included, so we appreciated it. However, we think the food - in general - was downgraded.

We also think that stirrup cay, with kids, does not present alternatives, specially with bad weather. That could be fixed with a simple playground.

One last coment: in Nasau, if you don't go to Atlantis, there is absolutely no options, and the tour to that hotel is excrutiantly expensive.

Wake up whenever you want, eat a good meal then go to the beach. It's just the vacation I've always want! Plus, party at night! Love the director and the dancers!

overall we give enjoyed our first cruise!!

it was my first cruise ever. However I thought it would become a little more stylish experience comparing to what I had on board of  Norwegian. The ship is old,the staff looked tired and the food was the most terrifying,flavores and fat I have ever tried. Even the salad tastes poorly. Besides  I think the stuff never cleaned the staterooms or changed the linings.  The only thing that really saved the journey was the entertainment program. It was fun and full of varaity headed by the cruise directrix tylor who made an amazing job. Two thumbs up for the guy!

It took them 1 hour to get people on board of small boats to visit the islands even though it comes and goes every 15 minutes. A total waste of time. 

Overall it was a good experience  however a little bit tacky in all sense 

It was a good trip for its value. It is a smaller ship and doesn't have as many amenities as the larger ships. It was kind of a letdown after going on the larger ships.

great experience the entertainment on board was great. The cruise entertainment director was great and Alvin Williams put on some great shows. I had a blast and would do it again.
