Overall I had a great time. I was a little scared at first because I heard that all the \"old\" people were on this cruise line but once I got on there I saw that complete opposite. I really enjoyed myself, especially the prices of the liquor bottles at the store. The food was great and so was the service of the crew members. The only thing that bothered me was the music, it was very repetitive and it got boring very quickly.

over all I would not recommend this cruise..I really only had negative things to say and would probably not cruise on this ship again

First day, before leaving port, it was raining and the center of the ship is open air. It has glass elevators. The bottom floor flooded closing part of the floor and one major restaurants My wife and, on our 36th anniversary vacation, along with another couple was in the glass elevator when it started raining IN the elevator, shorting out the electronics, and leaving us stranded between floors for almost an hour. Finally got out after several attempts by the crew.

   Entertainment is fine IF you like raggae or techno or a duo which they girl sing in a foreign language or rap however arter 11:30pm all there is to do is Casino. They also advertise karaoke nightly 10:30 til close, but what they don't tell you is the bar (The Plantation Room) closes at 11:30pm and no one there knows how to operate the system.

   The service is impeccable and the food was very good and plentiful. Also the stage show was ok, but the comedian, Andrew Kennedy, was hilarious. 

   They advertise wifi but forget to tell you it's 75 cents per minute. I brought my laptop and it's screen is larger than the tube type tv

WILL NEVER CRUISE NORWEGIAN AGAIN

Took the exact same trip one year ago, only this time we included our 2 teenagers.  This was their 1st cruise for them, and we wanted to be sure they would be ok on a ship, find enough entertainment, etc. to accompany us to a much longer trip in 2015.

Because there were 4 of us, we chose a suite with a large balcony, #9202, which was 600 sq ft +/-.  A little disappointed here because the room turned out to be nothing like the brochure information.  We thought we were going to have a queen bed in a bedroom separated from the rest of the living space.  This was important for my wife sharing a cabin with 3 guys.  What we found was our bed was in the middle of the room, and bunk beds separated by a sliding wall.  It worked, and the boys like having "their own room".

We were surprised to see all the water leaking into the top of the ship when a thunderstorm blew thru on the 1st day of our trip.  Not just a little water dripping thru a crack, but a waterfall flowing from one floor to the next to the next all the way down to the main Atrium level.  This caused a good deal of the elevators to have to be shut down.  So hundreds of guests were getting exercise walking 3-4 flights of steps to get to and from dinner or to and from a show.

Remember I mentioned we took the exact same trip a year earlier and I must say that I'm convinced the quality of the food this time was far below where we reviewed it last year.  general dining areas are always crowded, and something of a zoo depending on the time of day.  But my wife and I also agreed the specialty restaurants' staff were less customer service oriented.  And the food itself was just barely average.

Wanted to also be sure to mention that our boys found the "Teen Center" on the ship and loved it.  It is staffed by NCL folks, no one is allowed to be there unless you have been verified 13-18 years old, and it is so much more than just a bunch of kids sitting brainlessly in front of a TV playing video games.  They have their own itinerary every night, special events, dances, etc.  My guys (13 and 15) couldn't get enough and made a dozen new friends that they are still checking in with online.  The volleyball court on GSC was taken over by all the teens cementing some new friendships.

With the good has to come some bad and we all agreed Nassau was the worst part of our trip.  Nasty place.  Armed military everywhere, the scooter rental stand (which was close to the pier) was staffed with 5-6 men that I wouldn't trust to carry groceries to my car, and when you return from an excursion you are forced to walk thru a bizarre that is seedy at best.  If Nassau is on our itinerary next year, we will likely just stay on the ship.  #Purell  :-)

All in all, I'd say a consensus of the 4 of us would say :  getting on and off the ship 5 of 5,  food 2 of 5, ship activities 3 of 5, excursions 3 of 5, Nightlife 4 of 5, and Teen Center "6" of 5.  Take your teenagers with you on your cruise....  they will have a blast !

the food in the main dining room was poorer quality probably because you're trying to push people to use dining rooms that charge!

Fun, cheap cruise for two to get away for a few days from the working world.

Small ship, not like Pearl and Jewel.  old ship.  Food was poor, nothing fantastic, bland.  3 teen children, 15-17.  Not much for them to do.  No specials, climbing wall, adult pool / hot tub, bowling, etc.  Shows were poor and few.

Room steward was great, and staff was fine.

Loved this ship! However I may be a little biased, I love the smaller ship! The staff was incredible and the food was delicious. Had one of the best massages I have ever had at the spa! The boat was also very clean, and I loved it! Hope to cruise on this ship again! 😊

As I read the reviews before traveling on this ship I was concerned that we may not have a good time. However, this was my ninth cruise and the first with Norwegian and I loved it. Of course, things were not perfect but they were really, really good. Some people go on vacation any where and find fault with everything. My advice is STAY HOME!  A vacation from your normal stress should be just that! We boarded the ship early and put on our suits and went to the pool deck for cold drinks and some sun. Our cabin was very comfortable and our room steward was awesome. He remembered our names from our first introduction, which impressed us. There were 7 people in our group and we had different stewards yet the experience was the same with all of them. The food was more than adequate for a buffet line. The dining rooms that we dined in were very nice and the food was very good. The entertainment was wonderful. They had great staff and shows were lots of fun. The game show themes were extremely funny to watch so I would recommend any or all of them. If I was to find a complaint it would be that the pool towels were worn n some were stained and the toilet paper was so thin it was see thru!! Lol Some people complained about the small shower....ugh! You're on a ship for goodness sakes. Get over it and have fun! If you are miserable at home and find fault with everything and expect other people to make you happy you will always be disappointed! Stop taking vacations with other people so we all don't have to suffer your misery. We all had a great time and would not only recommend Norwegian but we would definitely do it again!!

So far my wife and I have cruised on several ships, but this was by far our favorite cruise. Not sure if it was because it was our first cruise together as a couple, but the all white party, and food was great. I've never been anywhere and the staff was as pleasant as the staff on this cruise. I love this boat.

Many crew members seem to act more like Nazis then friendly people.  Bed was very uncomfortable, we had to have 2 pads put on to make it somewhat ok.  Rooms are super small.  Food was okay but there were some items that were terrible.  They closed the back bar very early forcing you into the pool area where they played the music very loud even though there were only 12 of us in there!  (Not talking about the White Hot Party Night).  I found activites hard to find the times and what was going on.  Price dropped alot and was only given 25% on board credit to make up the difference then on the ship found out the price dropped even more.  Food selection was very limited.  One night all 3 of their "new" appitizers had onions in it for example.  I didn't eat one dessert that I wanted to eat again and I usually eat 2 desserts on cruises.  Do not order what they call "Rib Eye Steak", you will get an 1/8" cut of meat which is better suited for a steak sandwich.  Most of the staff was good but the nazis made it tough to deal with.

The ship was clean and in good condition for an older ship, however the layout is poor. The room was extremely small, even for an inside cabin, and the room layout meant that you were constantly in each others way. The rear deck and bar area was nice with ample shade, however the bar closed early. This forced you into the center pool area where the only bar that was open late was located. The DJ at the pool area played music that was not suited for the crowd (except on white hot party night) at ear splitting volume levels even though on most nights there were about 20-30 people in the bar/pool area. This made it impossible to hear one another even when yelling while seated at the same table, it was enough to drive you away. The only other bar areas open late were the smoky casino, or the (appropriately) loud disco. Food was extremely average, and don't order the ribeye, it belonged on a roll with onions, peppers, and cheese. It was as thin as a good philly steak sandwich steak. 

I love this CRIUSE it was everything I wanted and more. The pool parties was great the food was okay they have a lot to choose from so if you don't like something they have like 6 places where you can get food from.. You can eat 24/7 and it's always something to do. the entertainment was great (the shows was awesome). I would recommend this CRIUSE to everyone it was a great ship to CRIUSE on!! I'm booking with then again

we really enjoy crusing with Norwegian. I would recommend more activities to do earlier and more poolside fun .

This was a perfect weekend getaway and everything was of the highest quality. I'd definitely enjoyed NCL and look forward to future cruises.

Enjoyed this cruise, especially the freestyle dinning. Felt bullied daily by emails prior to the Cruise demanding we reserve dinning with an upcharge. Did not book additional dinning options. The bufett is too small for this ship and the food overall is mediocre at best. We felt that it was a good cruise for the money.

Very impressed, my first time on Norwegian and was blown away at the level of service, the amenities included in the price and the overall experience. I brought my mom for mothers day and she had a great time. The staff even had a mothers day dinner complete with ice sculptors and carved fruit.

Freestyle, I loved that the most, it was eat when you are ready and nothing was scheduled!
