Review summary

The ship was clean and in good condition for an older ship, however the layout is poor. The room was extremely small, even for an inside cabin, and the room layout meant that you were constantly in each others way. The rear deck and bar area was nice with ample shade, however the bar closed early. This forced you into the center pool area where the only bar that was open late was located. The DJ at the pool area played music that was not suited for the crowd (except on white hot party night) at ear splitting volume levels even though on most nights there were about 20-30 people in the bar/pool area. This made it impossible to hear one another even when yelling while seated at the same table, it was enough to drive you away. The only other bar areas open late were the smoky casino, or the (appropriately) loud disco. Food was extremely average, and don't order the ribeye, it belonged on a roll with onions, peppers, and cheese. It was as thin as a good philly steak sandwich steak.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Average at best, and that is for the dining room, I did not eat at the buffet.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff, except for the DJ. He couldn't read a crowd to save his life.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Good condition and clean, the floorplan makes it hard to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Extremely small travel only with someone you are very comfortable with.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Take the city cruise from Bayside it was a great way to see the area.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

5 out of 5
We set up our own arrangements to Paradise Cove (deadmans reef) for snorkeling. The staff was great and it was way cheaper than the crowded excursions from the ship.

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We set up our own arrangements to visit Sandy Toes on Rose Island a great relaxing excursion on a secluded island.

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

3 out of 5
Not much to do if lying in the sun isn't your thing. Not as well taken care of as the other Private Islands I've been to.
