Review summary

I really wanted to cruise on the Prima since it was a new ship. I was underwhelmed by the experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We were on a NCL cruise last year. The menu items in the dining room and specialty restaurants was the same as last year and the year before. I would have loved to see a new menu. The size of the buffet was small for the amount of people. There was always a line.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
I visited the thermal spa. It was very beautiful. The jets were on a timer and we had to constantly find and attendant to have them turned. I also played putt putt golf and darts.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I looked for comedy shows but there weren't any. I really enjoyed the Price is right and Donna Summer.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The service was very good. Everyone was very attentive and friendly.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship design was elegant and very beautiful. I thought layout of the ship was choppy and didn't flow. The common areas were clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I actually spent more time than normal in the cabin due to the lack of activities on board. The room was always clean. I also appreciated the variety of movies that were streaming.

Wonderful itinerary! We were on the Prima earlier this year and had a fabulous time. We did hear that they did not put comedians on European cruises due to the sense of humor being different with the Americans and Europeans.
