I wouldn't choose this cruise again. Nice getaway but nothing special to do it again.

NCL is an older and more experienced line, and this history pays off in a great overall cruise! This trip, the Cruise Director (Tiara, an American) was the best ever -- struck an excellent balance of information and humor without crossing the "too stupid" line that many others have.

We loved every minute of our time aboard the Pearl. We would definitely sail with Norwegian again.

Don't think we'll ever cruise again, certainly not with Norwegian. It wasn't all bad, but overall not an experience we'd want to repeat.

I will never cruise Norwegian again. Mediocre food, unfriendly staff, and not a lot of diverse entertainment (DJ in particular at the dance parties).

The Panama Canal was the cherry on my sundae, the reason why I went.

We really enjoyed the cruise very much. The only thing I wasn’t impressed with was no blue cheese, no truffles, no avocados and no lobsters. The drinks were great and wine was Delicious.

I always try to look on the positive side of things, but this trip truly made it difficult to do that. Was very disappointed in the food. And frustrated about purchasing a more expensive room to be able to take advantage of the specialty dining package and beverage package. Only to find out once we used our 1 meal that that was all we were allotted. The supervisors at customer service basically told us “oh well.” And wanted to dismiss our concerns and treated us like we were less than and weren’t very educated.

This cruise was a great getaway from work for the weekend. Great times on the ship and I absolutely loved being away from it all. The included drink package made the trip that much nicer!

We really enjoyed everything about this cruise and in fact would have loved to stay on the ship another couple of weeks. We will be doing another cruise sometime in our future

We had a lovely 14 day cruise of Montenegro, Croatia, the Greek Isles and western coast of Italy. Each stop was unique and the weather cooperative. I wish we were younger so that we could have done more exploring. Be prepared for the added costs of internet, drinks and gratuities.

With only 2 at sea days this cruise is a whirlwind of amazing ports to visit. Every stop was fantastic. The crew on the ship were always helpful and available. The entertainment was great, with no shortage of music in the evenings.

We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and the sailing was pretty smooth.

We thought this cruise was a perfect fit for us and looked forward to it for over a year. It just wasn’t. This was our 3rd cruise with NCL and it gives us pause on taking future cruises.

I enjoyed my second cruise with Norwegian Pearl. I am glad I did it again. Amazing memories and moments!

I appreciate how the Captain made a best and safe decision to go straight to Barcelona. We missed other ports...but Norwegian did fairly compensate the guest for our troubles.

Norwegian advertises its atmosphere as "Freestyle Cruising" and that is truly a good description. The old days of dress nights and assigned seating are long gone and with them some of what made cruising different from any other vacation place. That said, Norwegian does an excellent job of offering a wide variety of activities for all passengers and a wide range of entertainment. The food is good but it is the volume of it which is most remarkable. The crew is uniformly polite, attentive, and helpful. The Pearl is a fine ship and seemed enormous to us, although its 3,000 passengers would no longer count among the larger vessels at sea. We enjoyed wandering around to the various places on the ship for entertainment, food, and (frankly) the chance to move about. Unfortunately, our ship encountered engine trouble which forced us to miss two ports along the way and then end the cruise in Barcelona rather than continuing to Livorno and Rome. Norwegian more than made it up to us by promising to refund half the cost of the cruise and provide a 50% discount on a future journey. In contrast, a ship from another line encountering mechanical troubles in a prior port had their passengers in a smaller city for four straight days with no promise of return or any offer of relief or reimbursement. Norwegian's decision to provide information to the passengers along the way, proactively offer to compensate us for the changes, and then facilitate a fairly pleasant disembarkation is laudable, especially in comparison to peer companies. We will definitely be returning for another Norwegian cruise in the near future.
